Playing Card Flapper Dress

This is one of my all time favorite creations. I spent probably at least a week working on tho dress. I measured out the distances for the cards, hole punched them and hand stitched each one on material.

The aim of the dress was to be a commentary on the book The Great Gatsby. Daisy is a character of great temptation and of misfortune for Gatsby. Well the obsession of gabbling and the tempting nature of living in the roaring 20s is reflected in the dress made of cards.
